This utility allows you to quickly calculate the minimum length of a fiber optic cord (garter in technicians' jargon) to use on a Flexible Optical Splitter (ROF) by indicating the difference in number of trusses (horizontal) and number of levels (vertical) between the two optical heads to be connected.

The use of optical cords of the correct length guarantees reduced bulk and good performance of an optical distributor if the rules for passing a cord are respected.
